Change the default filter for a BlackBerry Internet Service account

Filters specify criteria to determine which messages are sent to the handheld. The Default Filter applies to messages that do not meet the criteria of the other filters. You can set the default filter either to forward messages to the handheld or not to forward messages to the handheld.

To change the default filter
1. Log in to your BlackBerry Internet Service account.
2. On the navigation bar at the top of the screen, click Filters.
3. On the Filters page, click the BlackBerry® icon to the right of the Delete button.
4. Choose either Forward messages to handheld or Do not forward message to handheld.
5. Click Save and Close.
Note: If you select Do not forward messages to handheld, messages sent to your BlackBerry Internet Service account will not be delivered to the handheld unless you have other filters set to deliver messages.
