Prevent Having a Copy of Your Desktop Messages Sent To Your Blackberry

When you send a message from the email program on your desktop computer, a copy of the message is sent to your handheld under the Sent folder. You can prevent the copy from going to your handheld by modifying the folder redirection settings on your handheld or in Desktop Manager.
To modify your handheld
1. From the Home screen, click the Messages icon.
2. Click the trackwheel, then Options.
3. Click Email Settings. The Email Settings screen appears.
4. Click the trackwheel, then Folder Redirection.
5. Click the Mailbox folder, then Expand.
6. Click the Sent Items check box, then Change Option. Verify that the Sent Items check box is clear.
7. Click the trackwheel, then Close.
8. In the confirmation window, click Save.
Copies of messages sent from the email client will no longer appear on your handheld.
To modify Desktop Manager
1. In Desktop Manager, double-click the Redirector Settings icon. The Redirector Settings window appears.
2. Click the Advanced tab.
3. Click Choose Folders. The Choose Folders window appears.
4. Clear the Sent Items check box, then click OK.
5. To save your changes and close the window, click Apply, then OK.
Copies of messages sent from the email client will no longer appear on your handheld.
